Covers screens. Glasses are covered if they are also a screen.

§1 Welcome
Welcome to SI. This handbook will answer all of your questions. If it does not answer a question, that question is not covered by the handbook, and is therefore not a question.
§3 Working hours
Core hours are 10 AM to 4 PM. Non-core hours are all the other hours. You are expected to be responsive during both.
§5 Dress code
Business casual, casual business, or whatever the camera can see. Badges must be visible at all times, including in dreams.
§7 Communication
Reply-all is a fireable offense, and also mandatory. When in doubt, cc. When not in doubt, cc to be safe. “Per my last email” is our official greeting and should be delivered warmly.
§9 Meetings
Every meeting must have an agenda, minutes, and a follow-up. The follow-up must also have an agenda, minutes, and a follow-up. Please plan accordingly, forever.
§12.4 Deployments
Employees shall not deploy. Employees who deploy shall file a postmortem. Employees who file a postmortem shall schedule a meeting about the postmortem, during which they shall not deploy, which is redundant, and also the point.
§12.6 Rollbacks
Rollback is someone else’s problem. “Someone else” is defined as “not you,” which is everyone, which includes you. Please escalate.
§14 Leaving SI
We’re sad to see you go. Your exit interview will be scheduled as a recurring meeting.
